Craps part 2

In the previous article we explained the main rules of the game of craps which apply to all online casinos. Below is a description of further betting options, definitely more challenging and with higher winning odds. COME and DON’T COME bets can only be made after the first dice roll.

COME: the player places his chips in the appropriate area on the table layout. At this point the dice are rolled. If you roll a total of 7 or 11, you win double your initial bet. If craps (2, 3, 12) is rolled, you lose everything. The point is established with the remaining numbers and represents the basis for the subsequent rolls. If 7 is rolled, you lose all hopes of winning, but if the point is rolled first, you win double your bet.

DON’T COME: it is complementary to COME. In this case, if a 2 or a 3 are rolled, it wins. If a 12 is rolled, it is a standoff and players have the option to revoke their bet. If a 7 or 11 is rolled, you lose your wager. As for other numbers (the point), if the shooter rolls a 7 before the Don’t Come point, it wins.

ODDS BET: it is complementary to the four bet options described above: PASS LINE, DON’T PASSA LINE, COME, DON’T COME. Bets can be made after a point has been established. It allows for more profitable payoffs, up to 3 times the initial bet.

FIELD: this bet is a wager that one of the numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 will appear on the next roll of the dice. Bets can be made on the subsequent rolls and if 2 or 12 is rolled, payoff is triple, while the remaining numbers double the bet.

BIG 6 and BIG 8: bets are located in the corners of the table, behind the pass line. If a 6 or an 8 is rolled before a 7 comes out (this is to be declared beforehand), it wins. Payoff is double the bet.

PLACE WIN and PLACE LONE: These two game options are complementary to each other PLACE WIN is made by placing the chips on the lower margin of the numbers 4,5,6,7,8,9,10, well visible at the centre of the table. If the number on which the wager was made comes out before 7, it wins. PLACE LONE is the opposite: chips are placed on the upper margin of the number.

BUY and LAY BETS: These options are very similar to the bets described above; chips are marked with BUY or LAY. Payoffs differ.

OTHER BET OPTIONS: The right area of the table layout allows for different bet options that can be made on single numbers or particular combinations. The number on which the bet is made must come out only on the next roll. These bets have high payout but low probability.
